Newark launches Panasonic ERJPC Series: Thin-film precision in a thick-film footprint
Double Power Density enables smaller designs with accuracy down to 0.1% and 25ppm stability
Newark is now selling the new ERJPC series of super high-precision thick-film resistors from Panasonic Industry. This innovative product line delivers precision levels previously only achievable with thin-film technology, offering engineers a powerful new tool for space constrained and high accuracy designs.
The ERJPC series delivers a TCR as low as 25ppm/K and tolerances down to ±0.1% and ±0.5%, allowing designers to achieve thin-film precision within a more cost-effective thick-film architecture. With up to double the power density of traditional thin-film solutions—0.2W in a 0603 size and 0.25W in 0805—designers can shrink their layouts by replacing larger components with smaller ERJPC resistors.
Key Specifications Precision

Clara Lagomarsini, Product Manager Device Solution Business Division at Panasonic Industry explains: “Many applications - such as Battery Management Systems (BMS), Electronic Control Units (ECUs), home appliances and industrial and factory automation systems - require high precision components. Our thick film technology is a real alternative to thin film implementations. The new ERJPC thick-film series combine high-precision, environmental stability, while offering a new path towards long-term cost efficiency.”
Andy Weatherill, VP Global Product, Supply Chain, Newark, said: “Adding ERJPC to our Panasonic portfolio gives customers a high‑precision solution. By using advanced materials and optimized structures, Panasonic enables engineers to achieve thin‑film‑level accuracy alongside the power‑density advantages of thick‑film technology — supporting meaningful board downsizing and long‑term cost savings in demanding designs.”
The Panasonic ERJPC Super High-Precision Thick-Film Resistor series is available for fast delivery from Newark in North America, Farnell in EMEA, and element14 in APAC.
